thats kool to know but honestly i wouldnt trust them just bc there are so many factors i would be worried about such as age of the bulbs, shipping damage, etc
I believe I read on Sylvania's website that they're rated at 300 hours of usage. Which is pretty low, but eh.
lol ya most ppl know this but forget to actually do this. My friend and i had a talk about this and when he installed his silverstars, he actually touched it and it only lasted over a year and now hes on his second set.
The easiest way to tell which silverstars u have is by the color of the packaging. If the packaging was silver and blue then its the regular ones and if its the gold and orange one then its the ultra. The ultras are only a bit brighter and whiter but kinda seems expensive since its $60/pair.
This is good to know. I've read other reviews of the Silverstars and people were saying they didn't last long.
I went through 2 sets in 2 yrs. The GE halogen I have now, are close to 2 yrs old.
I want to find better bulbs as these GE's are not the brightest, but I have had bad luck with the silverstars.
anyone running diff bulbs?

Wow, this thread really crashed and burned... Sorry Muti007 :sadwave:
To Randy and runnergirl, did you touch the bulbs when you installed them like was previously talked about in the above posts?
