also...i forgot to mention that before installing the guards on my truck...i had no previous experience with doing these things. so if i can do it...anyone can! as soon as vcoglian told me he was able to do it, i did not hesitate to save myself some money.

Hell yeah, I am installing it myself. I'm a little scared of electrical mods, but nuts and bolts.....lets just say when I was a kid, this would be considered play time. No way am I paying anyone to do this one. My best friend really enjoys this type of thing too, so I am going to invite him over, crack open a couple beers and enjoy the process.

Nope. I just installed it the day before yesterday, and posted more mounting pics in the thread linked in my sig. It was a little tricky getting that last bolt in there and for all of them to sit flat, but overall I'm glad I did it myself. I can just imagine a tech banging and bending to try and get it on there. I just loosened some of the bolts and jiggled it some to try and finesse it on there. I had tons of fun installing it until I got to that last little frustrating bit of trying to get the last bolt in and tighten everything up. I was rushing it a bit because it was late and my help was going to bed, so it may go a little better if you take it a little slower. Good luck and btw this is my favorite mod so far but also the most expensive. It really makes your runner stand out from the rest in the neighborhood.
