T4R 88 first gen OEM alloy rims size and backspacing

Hi!
Please, can you tell me the size of the OEM alloy rims and their backspacing? (T4R first gen 88 Sr5).



I'd like to put 33x10.5R15 BFG in them.

I had those on my 86 when I bought it new in 86, 33 10.50's will fit without issue (slight lift needed if i recall correctly for 33's). I ran 31x10.50's for several years on them

pretty sure i have a couple buried in my parts stash, i'll run out and check measurements for you. pretty sure 15x7

mine still have set of roller tires on them, hard to get actual backspacing with the straight edge i had being too long but it looked like a 4" B/S
it said offset is 8 and 15x7

3" lift required to clear 35' tires! And I'm almost positive if you use the factory offset that when you hard turn you'll run the frame.

I do want 35' tires, but I plan to buy 33x10.5R15 first, no lift required with those.

the alloy rims pictured by dropzone, with "offset 8", are not factory size for first gen 4runners. the offset 8 are factory for 2nd gen 4runners. they will fit a 1st, though. the firsts have a 15 offset. you might not get rubbing, as these put the tire farther out.

edit: to clarify, 1st gens have a 15 offset, but no markings indicating that.

I forgot a detail, my T4R has IFS.

T4R first gen SR5 IFS

I can get these:
OEM ALLOY RIMS
T 15x7JJ-8 DOT
OFFSET 8
Around 4" backspacing

to install 33x10.5R15 BFG tyres in them.

Do you think they'll rub?

Should I get 8 offset or 15 offset? I know the difference but I don't know which one to buy in the context described above.
