I am on another forum and they have a B.S. thread that includes anything and everything in life and figured I'd post one here and see if people are interested. this forum seems very strait forward and doesn't seem to have a whole lot of fun and or roasting/ non-sense and I kinda enjoy that. Anyone else agree? If so, crack open and beer and sit back and enjoy the shenanigans and shit show! Cheers my friends!!!! :cheers: :flipoff: :beer:

Well how about people don't get this one closed? People do more than own a T4R in life, although it does consumer a lot of my American spending units and time.

Off Topic - Toyota 4Runner Forum - Largest 4Runner Forum

I've seen these BS threads on different forums. It gives all the worst members a place to hang out. The type you'd rather not have get comfortable, like bums on a street corner in front of your house.

One forum I was on really loved their BS thread, they loved it so much the whole forum became basically useless, they couldn't post in any thread with anything serious or useful. I just quit reading/posting there. It was a shame too because it started out with a pretty good idea of being a forum for the vehicle enthusiasts, owned and run by enthusiasts.

They just completely failed at staying focused and I checked on it a while back, it's died down to where only a small group of them that used to BS together constantly are the only ones posting.
 
Well look at everyone being a Debbie Downer. This is the type of stuff that makes the B.S. threads go south. You don't gotta be here if you don't want to be. Just figured I'd post and see what people were up to. :noidea:

Not a Debbie downer just being honest as it seems one of these threads pops up every few months on this 4runner website with a new guy thinking he has this bright idea that no one has ever thought of. If you want to BS go to CNN, fox, msnbc and litter up their pages and I'm sure you can get in on the roasting and bashing.
For other members or new people trying to find good information on this 4runner forum these threads seem to take away from that and get in the way.
T4r.org is one website. There are literally a million other websites out there that look like they would appease what you are seeking. I suggest Google to get you started.

T4r.org is one website. There are literally millions out there besides this website that look like that would appease what you are seeking. I suggest Google to get you started.

If i wanna shoot the shit with people go to another forum..... and use google and news stations to communicate with others about anything other than a runner. Got it! That what you're getting at? Pretty much what I got out of all your non-sense.

Also I never said I have a bright idea or in anyway say I had something new like it was my idea or anything. I simply posted a thread (cause you can do that here). You opened it up, you could've closed it just as easily and went about your day.

To answer your first sentence...I mean this is t4r.org...so talking about t4r on this website would seem to be the purpose here, as I stated there are millions of other options out there if you DON'T want to talk Runners.

As for closing a thread, I dont' think you understand how that works....I don't have that ability.

We've reached a milestone! a question to answer!!!!

Honestly my front bumper. I wanted something a lot of people don't have. I love how it looks and it was the last thing that i think brought all of the build together.

Is there anything you don't like about your runner?

LMAO. That's a pretty big stretch man. The reason these threads eventually get closed has nothing to do with clutter and everything to do with not following the rules. We could BS in a friendly fashion all day long and this thread could be a place to do that. That probably won't happen though. You know, with the internet dickwad theory and all. More on that later.

As far as new people trying to find good info that's why the search function is there. Now let's say someone searched for "3rd gen power steering BS". Maybe, just maybe, this thread comes up in the tenth page of that search. I don't know about you but I never make it past page three in any website or Google searches I've ever done. So if random newb ends up here truly looking for answers he's probably not gonna be smart enough to fix his issue anyway.

So far we've all managed to keep it civil but the only BS'ing has been about the thread itself. So to answer your question about my favorite mod to my 97. Tires and rims. I've done a lot of other stuff to it but ground clearance for the type of wheeling I do was the best bang for buck. It was a lot of buck too. MB Motoring 352 17x9 -12 offset paired with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/70/17. There a beast of a tire and if you search the site I'm not the only one with that impression. The thread on them here is one of the main reasons I went with them. Now back to my favorite meme of all time:

Not at all man. If I wanted to call you an dickhead I would. Re-read my post. It's about people in general not you. If I thought you where a dickhead I wouldn't have even bothered to respond to you. All your posts I've read on here are well thought out and pretty well composed. I just think you where reaching a bit on the section I quoted you on. If that came across any other way you read it wrong. It's the net and intentions are hard to judge by words. If we where face to face you'd be laughing which is what that meme was meant to make you do. lol
