i must need more lights then, ive got strobes in my corners, grille and dash and i see people just keep cruising while staring at me, until i fly by them. I eventually got a siren so i can hint, ok seriously go ahead and scoot over a little . . . . hopefully soon ill be swaping out all of my strobes for some new leds!

Sounds like you guys like videos. I am working on putting a site together that sells this kind of stuff. I have a flash video of me driving through town lights and sirens in my '00 4Runner on the homepage. I will try to post some more videos/pictures of my truck shortly.

I'm guessing the parking lot that you entered at the end of the video was at the rear of the fire hall and that the fire truck we see was the one you missed.
So what do you do when you arrive 60 seconds too late? Turn around and go home again? Do you get paid for trying to respond? Do you go out on another vehicle? Just curious is all.
Yea, I was in a parking lot and didnt want to get arrested for having the sirens on. I should have put music to it. Sorry the video is terrible. I took it with my digital snapshot camera that does video. One of my idiot friends left my video camera outside a while back and it disappeared overnight.

And yes, mikestreb answered this indirectly, but if you miss the first truck you jump on the next truck heading to the scene. In his case, it sounds like its the ambulance, since he does EMS.
