Does anyone local to the park know if it's possible for us to reserve a space, or is it first come-first served?

We are talking about number 1 here right?
1 is the largest and is where you have to pay to get in but is the best part, if we went on a non holiday im pretty sure we will have plenty of space and wont have to worry about reservations.
Number 2 has a stage and i think 4 or 5 benches and a big pond and is free but is way smaller and alot of kids are usually there.
