had to wait until the weekend, but found another used cover for $20. this time i would be doing it solo and i got a late start in the evening, quit around 9pm and finished up the next day.

so i thought i would have to cut the front part of my grille to fit with the winch, but instead i grinded off the tabs, and zip tie it, and it just fits in there.

Do you think you could take a photo of the winch sitting in the front bumper looking straight down? ...basically I have this bumper on order and want this winch, and want to cut that front bar off and close the front of the bumper with a plate to make it look more normal. I was hoping I wouldn't have to move the winch mounts back, but by the looks of this photo, I think I might have to just a little bit.

Yeah that's definitely the angles i needed, but it's still so hard to tell. It looks like I might be able to run a plate across the front of it without interfering with the line and spool, but it would be damn close. I guess there's only one way to find out. Thanks!

Nice truck! Not sure how I never clicked on your build until today. Our trucks started out identical. Black SR5 4WD with 5 stars, painted flares, and chrome bumpers.

It looks like you guys have some pretty nice trails down there in Florida. I've never explored in Florida, but I've been to the Conecuh NF in South Alabama and it looks pretty much just like that. Lots of sandy trails.

Keep up the pictures and doing fun stuff with your truck!

Nice build Mike. Link to those rear bumper LED's? I had a pair to mount but they were confiscated by my brother for a CJ7 project he has in the works.

Still liking the RAM as well?

Thank you.

I bought these for something a little different then the square lights everyone else uses: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MDJQN34/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Still like my Ram; I'm now using it as my secondary off-road/camping vehicle. a lot more comfortable to travel long distance and i use the back to camp out of.

Woe! Cool pics and trail ride! I grew up in Naples and lived in Tallahassee while I was going to school many years ago. That looks like North Florida. I didn't catch the location. I learned to respect that real dark Florida mud. That stuff can have the consistency of thick brownie mix and can gum tires up pretty quickly. Hahahaha. I grew up three and four wheeling in south Florida.

That ride was actually in Ocala Nat. Forest.
