So ive been on here for a while and finally decided to do a build thread on my 4runner. Its a 2005 Limited 4x4. I bought the vehicle with the intentions of keeping it stock, but as we all may know that never happens. I have had many vehicles (this being my 11th) and most of them were modded I espically miss my LS1 camaro M6.
First thing i did was get it tinted. 15% front and 5% rear. I also added a cargo rack that my buddy was willing to part with for cheap. I went ahead and added a 2.5 daystar front spacer and 1.5 rear spacer. I felt that the front grill and the headlight bezel needed to be painted black so thats what i did.

Next mod I did was the good ole ricer plastidip the wheels.

I found a good deal on spidertraxx spacers locally and picked those up.

I then went ahead and bought some 285-70-17 terra grappler g2 with new black wheels. I removed the front spacers as they rubbed but i kept the rears on. I also moved the fender liner forward. I had some rubbing while in reverse but none while driving forward.

I decided i needed some lighting and bought a 40 inch LED lightbar and two spot lights for the rear. I also bought two wiring harnesses.

I decided it was time to ditch the daystar spacers and get some 5100's. While I was in there I decided to get some upper control arms since mine had a TON of play in them. The control arms were from a newer 4runner from a member on here locally who hooked me up. On the front I have the 5100 set at 1.75 and have tacoma TRD springs which yield about 1-1.5 lift. I'm sitting a little bit higher than with the daystar spacers on. For the rear i have the tacoma 5100 which is a bit longer than the 4runner i believe. I also changed the eye bushings with energy suspension bushings for it to be able to fit on the 4runner.
The install was not bad and I was able to do it mostly on my own. The top bolt on the rear shocks would not budge so I had to run to the store and buy a sawzall as my grinder wasnt doing anything!

The 4runner rides so smooth now, I love it. I will have to get pics of it with the 5100 installed. I also need to go get an alignment.
