tail light upgrade

so the other day I was working around the house and was looking at my rig..

the tail light still works wonderful but I want to give it an updated look..

I was looking in the 01-02 tails.. something to change up from my 99 frosted lens to the clear ones..

but I'm in an dilema..

should I stick with the halogen bulbs? or should I up the ante to the led?

I have read the led tails did gave out on some of the forum members ride's..
example: roll of led would die, the company doesn't stand behind their product..

How is the quality of it? is it pretty good? how long have you had it before it started to give problems?

Bought my Eagle Eyes LED tails in 2009.

No problems to this day.
