Wonder if someone could tell me what the size of the pipe is, before the resonator and after the muffler. Is it different on V6 and V8 trucks? Thanks in advance!

2.5in, i think same on both engines.
Wrong. Its 2 3/8 thereabout. Its smaller than 2.5 but bigger than 2.25. But lets just call it 2.25". You would see this if you bought a muffler and exhaust.

Thanks guys, sounds about like what was on my 3rd gen, some weird metric size maybe but pretty close to 2-3/8"
