Taking Apart 4th Generation Interior Moulding

Hey guys, I just got a beautiful 2008 4runner and I want to put an aftermarket heated seat kit into my 4runner. I know how to do everything in the car, but im just trying to figure out how to take the door-carpet moulding pieces off so I can run wires underneath the carpet. I'll post pictures when I'm done, I bought the Dorman heated seat kit, it seems pretty simple, it comes with that piggyback-off-a-fuse connector so no need to rewire much at all. Thanks!

if you're talking about the plastic door sill piece it just pops off when you pry up. Mine was easiest to lift in the middle as the front kinda hooks under the kick panel. I believe the back hooks in as well but doesn't have as large of tab as the front.

The carpet also has plastic edges that clip into parts on the floor but IIRC those just pull up too but you may be able to run the wires through to the hole below the seat with a coat hanger without unclipping the carpet.

Yeah that was going to be my first thing to try because it has the power seats, if not I'll have to get under the carpet, thanks for the response!
