Taking The Vane Off The Blower Motor

I've got the common cricket chirping noise coming from the blower motor. I took the blower motor out without any problems but can't seem to separate the vane from the blower motor. I've tried everything short of destroying the vane and I really don't feel like buying one. How do you take the vane off?

Go buy a new motor. Mine did the same thing and that was how I fixed it. I tried to take the vane off, but whacked the motor through its housing. I didnt have a fan for 2 days.

Which manufacturer did you go with or where did you get yours? The majority of the ones I've seen don't include the fan vane.

I'm interested to see if anyone knows how. Its got that little clip on the top you have to remove, then you'd expect it to just pop out, but that wasn't happening. Would be easier to clean if there was a way to remove it from the housing and motor anyway.

I bought mine from Toyota. I believe they are 120 through the Toyota parts places online.

It's pressed onto the shaft. It's possible to get it off, not easy though.
Rig up a puller.
