The ignore button pisses me off, because you still see that they posted and you see their posts when other posters quote them and it's like hearing half of a retarded conversation. That's worse than hearing a whole retarded conversation.

Being aware that a permanent gag order is enforced against a nitwhit on my behalf, that I am shielded from whatever nitwhit thing is being said, this pleases me. I've only enabled this once, and I smile with relief every time I see "This message is hidden because XXXX is on your ignore list."
Just as XXXX is about to blurt out an annoying antagonistic digression which substitutes semantics and rhetoric for substance and reason, an invisible keeper of the gates appears to clamp their hand over his mouth and all one hears is..... nothing.
