TBU Power Stop Z36 or Z23?

Hi, I'm looking to do TBU to my 2002 Sport Ed and looking at those two kits for 2005 Tundra V8.
The only difference I see is in the pads. Z36 is for severe duty, towing and Z23 is Sport performance.
I don't tow anything and don't plan to.
I was wondering if anyone here has their opinion regarding Power Stop brake kits in general and if they are all good should I go with Z23 rather then Z36?

Been happy with the set up I put on mine. I went with the Z36, but use the vehicle for a lot of mountain driving, offroad travel so went with the heavier because I will abuse them. Much better feel than the pulsating "stock" set up on it when I got the vehicle.

Another vote for Z36. if youre spending the money, why not get the more "severe use" product?
I love mine and have had the Z36 on my F150 and it was light years better than the stock brakes that failed within a year. Never had an issue with the powerstops and they seem to last a loooooong time.

Thank you. I feel I need to clarify: my question was partially about difference between the pads and mostly about quality and durability of the power stop kit in general (rotors, calipers and pads).
The price between Z23 and Z36 is really negligible. I was just thinking maybe 36 be kind of too grippy.

I assume severe duty means semi-metallic pads. I prefer their performance to ceramics. Downside is noise and dust.

I had thought that might be the case too but they have been smooth as silk, not grabby at all. While I don't have any other system to compare it to, it's the best there is (obviously, because I bought it and need to justify my decision making:hat: )

I have had them and they are great. Def. last and there is a noticeable increase in performance. I did notice some brake dust but that's the only negative.

Hah, not in Baja (until Feb :thumb3: )

Everything is holding up great so far, they're wearing good and have had no issues. Think I have about 20k on them. I'm about to start doing prep, maintenance stuff, etc getting ready for the next Baja run coming up so will take a closer look at everything but expect I won't have to even change pads.
