TE roof rack bolts

Does anyone know how to find the part number for the TE roof rack bolts? The dealership could only find SR5 and Limited rack parts in Toyota's parts system. I need one of the flat black rear bolts for the TE. I'm in the process of installing a TE roof rack on my SR5 and one of the bolts stripped. I looked at the parts list Harper7 posted and it also only shows the SR5 parts.

When it really comes down to it,they are just M8 metric bolts. Just have to measure to get the right length,seal them in with RTV and use the better hardened steel ones with washers . They are not THAT special.I had some from Home Depot to plug the holes in mine to keep the water out before I put on my Baja Rack.

The ones I got with the used TE rack were black Torx bolts with a flat top. I'll check with the guy I bought it from to see if those were stock. BTW, I used the above link to remove my SR5 rack, and there will an upcoming rant about the damage it caused to my truck! :rant: Thanks for the help.

Sounds like the stock bolts I had on mine. They're longer than those black ones in the link too, closer in length to the silver bolts though I seem to recall them being threaded all the way up.

Honestly, if I were going to put my stock rails back on I don't know if I'd use the stock bolts. I'm not surprised you stripped one since I thought I was going to do that getting them out. Toyota puts some kind of threadlocker on them (you can see it on the stock bolt in the link Harper posted) and I needed to put the torx bit in my ratchet to get enough leverage on it. I totally agree with what Harper said about getting better hardened steel bolts.
