so how many teeth on a 4:10 ring gear
or if you don't know that how many on a 4:30. Either answer will get me what I need
thanks
Had a set of OE takeoff 4.30's in garage, 43 on ring gear.
thanks wonder if a 410 has 41.
Im gonna split one open in a few days, it is unknow what the ratio is, or year but it is out of a 4runner
so that will help, If I got 43 then I assume its a 4:30... if different than 43 than must be a 410
Hey guys,
I saw an ad for a 3rd member but the seller wasn’t sure what the ratio was. He counted and said 41:11 which seems like a 3.72, did these ever come locked?
He sent a picture of the pinion and it has a stamp that says 10 but the seller says he keeps counting 11. Any idea on what’s going

15" wheel trucks came with 3.73's... So, definitely worth being wary. None of those were e-locked.The 3rd gens 96-02 most common. 4.10, then 4.30 and 4.56. The 4th gens 03-09 came with 3.73. both are 8inch rear ends but the 4th gens are 27 splines while the 3rd gens are 30.

Most e-locked 4Runners were 4.30's, but some (manual transmission) came with 4.10 e-lockers, along with PreRunner Tacos.
