Tell me about Hummer H3 Alpha

I saw a red H3 Alpha with the v8 this morning, looks just like this one:

I have since become very interested in the H3 and started looking up used inventory and noticed that they are still very expensive. Can you all tell me a little about them? GM makes fairly reliable trucks don't they?

I have a 2007 H3 5 cylinder. Also have a 2014 4runner. 4runner all day. If you want the V8 power get the later gen 4runner. Have had several issues with my H3. New engine at 88k miles. Constant check engine lights. Silly stuff that makes me want to trade it in for a 4runner for the wife or a taco for me. Honestly I would stay clear. But on the plus side. Hummer does make a great 4wd vehicle. Their chassis is proven not only in combat, but I've seen plenty of videos of them in moab.
