Temporary Fix for Torn CV Boot?

IMO, this is a good investment. I installed a pair a little over a year ago, and I now wheel with more confidence. It probably is overkill, but I don't like trail repairs...

Also, Glen is a great guy to deal with...highly recommend.

I've looked at them but still plan on using my OEMs. I don't like repairs either but I'd rather deal with a snapped CV then anything in the diff.

You guys won't break the CV's. You won't break the ARB. So the next weak point in the front drive line is the ring and pinion. At least that's my logic.

I have used shoo goo on my car's torn boot and its still holding fine. Just clean the boot with acetone or brake cleaner well and give it 1-2 days to cure. If you can add a synthetic cheese cloth like fabric to it. You can get an even stronger repair.
