Tensioner Pulley Replacement

Let me preface this by saying I have spent the last hour searching threads on this forum.

I am in the process of replacing my radiator, water pump, and thermostat on my '06 4Runner V6. I realize it would be good preventive maintenance to replace some of the pulleys. From what I read the tensioner pulley and the idle pulley should be replaced.

However, I can't seem to find just the tensioner pulley anywhere. Everywhere I look, I only find the entire tensioner assembly which is about $100. Does anyone know the part numbers for the tensioner and idle pulleys? Can i replace just the bearings on the tensioner pulley?

Probably. If you take apart the tensioner assembly, you'll likely find the bearing is staked into the pulley. Use a punch to back the stakes off and you can drive the bearing out with a socket. It'll have a part number on it. Probably NSK, but whatever it is, you can take it to a NAPA and they can crosscheck it and sell you a replacement bearing. Try to get NSK or Koyo if you can.

For what it's worth, if the bearing isn't making noise and isn't spinning rough, I wouldn't replace it. Toyota didn't design it to be serviceable because it's not supposed to go bad over the lifetime of the truck. I suspect yours is just fine.
