See if you can get a NAFTA from Tepui so you you dont have to pay duties, only taxes.

Are you serious? Is this a thing? From what I understand, only reason I'm paying duties is because these tents are made in china. If they were made in the USA, no duties because of nafta.

Can we get details on who messed this up for us?? If it is a person who is in business of selling tepui tents and did not like what was going on here I would like to put them on blast, was this a tepui dealer?? or was this Tepui themselves? I think we deserve the details

Well hopefully Another company can pick up the slack and still meet a comparable discount without losing quality ... One way or the other I'm getting a rooftop tent in the next month ... It's a shame they'd road block a sale like that, it only helps a company to get there product out there with more visibility, especially on the forums ... I think it's counter productive especially with 20 dudes on a forum that will land a couple good reviews for customer service and appreciation, I mean companies pay big money for commercial to get there name out there but oh well ...... Somebody complained, and tepui made the call, can't do nothing but spend our money somewhere else

Hey folks. This is Evan the founder of Tepui. Sorry I am mostly absent from forums and message boards keeping an eye on these discussions. Just super busy and having too much fun I guess. Finished our Lost Coat planning sesh yesterday and super excited about that.

In any case - this was originally intended as a club purchase for an overlanding group as we generally don't do your typical group buys as there is too much blow back from our dealers. That being said we'll honor the 20% discount to anyone on the list that is emailed to us Monday morning. I have a hold on all the tents for folks that were previously on the list which can ship out next week first come first serve. For anything out of stock we will honor the intent to purchase and discount as soon as your model arrives.

Just a note - We have green on black ruggedized models now and all Kukenam and Autana models now come stock as a Sky tent.
