Terra Grapplers simple question

for all of those who have or had the terra glappers how many miles do you have on them or how many did you get before they were replaced because i will be getting a set on the 28th

I'm on my second set. The first set I got over 40k out of them and they still had a good bit more to go; the only reason I got rid of them is because I had a patch in the sidewall of one of them and they wouldn't let it pass inspection. I have 20k on the second set and the tread still looks brand new.

There are really two answers to the question of longevity.

I have a set of 285/70R17's on my 4Runner I installed around November and they have been doing well on-road and off-road. I plan on replacing mine somewhere near the 1/3 tread life area because I use mine off-road and too shallow a tread is just going to slip.

So if you're like me then you're tires will last a little less than most people, but if you just go by the standard 3/32 mark 40k sounds about right.

50K. Not too much time offroad with them so guess thats why they lasted so long. Great great tire. Only reason I went Duratracs was I knew I was going to wheel much more but they Nittos are a GREAT TIRE.

i have just a hair over 50k and am getting new tires in the next month or so. i dont like running them down to slicks though. i can't decide between duratracs or another set of TG's. Im happy with them but might want something just a little more beefy, for lack of a better term. get them, THEY ARE AMAZING TIRES. Fair prices too

25,000 and they wore worn down to the belts on a 2002 TJ Wrangler, had a pair on the rear of a 1992 Chevy k1500 and some used BFG's on the front because i was too poor at the time to buy a full set of matching tires (laugh if you want) and the Nittos wore out before the used BFG's. Ended up selling the used BFG's and buying a set of Yokohoma's to replace all 4 of those tires.

Yea i wish i could get a set of duratracs but my sister owes me for the scratch that was put on my car and the insurance money was used on her car so these are my best choice but i will most likely be driving them till the are slicks
