While sitting in my 4runner texting before work, I got to test my icons without even leaving the concrete road. We had a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Anchorage today and I will say they performed flawlessly lol. While roads were collapsing, the ceiling tiles and lights at my job were falling out of the ceiling, and half my glassware at home was shattering...I was softly rocking back and forth about 4 inches to each side.
In all seriousness, I've been here since 2011 and this is the worst earthquake I've been here for. All the roads are backed up because of sink holes and cracks, streetlights are coming back up slowly but the power has been out in a bunch of places, and there are lines way outside the gas stations with people freaking out over convenience store essentials. Appearently we are supposed to have another one in a few hours so this will be a long day.
I know the Alaska group on here is small but if anyone in the area needs help with anything, shoot me a message. I'd be glad to help out.
