Testing... Testing... 1... 2... 3...

This whole quote and tags thingy make too many notifications!! I don't need to get notified whenever someone quotes me. If I am interested in a thread, then I will select new post notification via email. Now, I get at least two notifications for every response! Why? I am not that narcissistic to need notification whenever someone uses my words. :D

Repost from other thread.

So, its really cool that member input is being applied to the forum to make it better. However, I'm not a fan of the "Tagged" & "Mentioned" count under the user name in the info block. I see that there are now tabs under each user's profile along with the "About Me" & "Statistics" section. Do we really need a public count as well?

If we are going to be getting THESE improvements
12. Better user titles that change with the reputation
15. Build thread link under avatar
then the user info block is just too big/long.

As you can see in the screen capture above, I made a 1 line comment, but it takes up an the same amount of space as if I had posted a 4-5 paragraph response because there are now 2 more lines of information in that spot. And, my location has been removed from my information block, which (to me) is a lot more relevant than how many times someone has been mentioned/tagged. If we're expecting to add links to build threads and location information back to that spot, I just think it will be way to cluttered.

The new smilies are really cool too :llama:

I like how it shows OP next to the original poster throughout the entire thread.. That's something I always liked with TacomaWorld that we didn't have here.

Great upgrades guys, site is coming along great!

I'm having some issues whenever I post in the quick reply. Sometimes when I click the post button it acts as if I'm double posting and it takes me to the "you have to wait......" page.

Only issue I've had so far is trying to mention someone with a symbol in the beginning or end of their user name... not a big deal whatsoever but I noticed it doesn't work. For instance I was trying to tag -JD-. When I go to edit the reply it shows up as @%1;
