Just my unsolicited 2 cents, but one of you might find it helpful - when it comes to situations like this, the more you argue (even if you are right), the more wrong you look.

I think this thread makes both of you look pretty bad - and not because of what the other person is saying, but due to how you respond. That's not a judgment against either of you, just an observation.

P. S. - Remember the old gag that compares arguing on the internet to the Special Olympics?

I've been reading this during breaks at work. It might be helpful to just let it go. Good thread. Good friends can argue and work through it. Everyone take a deep breath and think of some one who, for this country really stood for something, and fell. That is what this day is about not infantile squabbles.

The point is not that i run this forum...the point is that there is indeed a double standard for admins and mods. Does this make me feel important?? No, i have my day job which i consider to be much more important to my life and my family. Let's not get carried away...this forum is a hobby. And as a hobby, we (admins and mods) work on this forum day (and night) to keep it together in one shape or another. Members here get to enjoy the forum for free and without spam. Because we don't get paid nor get much appreciation (as clearly seen in this thread by a few members), we have more "privileges" than other members. The rules are made to favor the admins and mods in the rare situation where an argument arises. Sorry, this is life...this is how this forum is. I am sorry that i have to break this news to some members. In fact, just a few months ago, many members on this forum appreciated the mods and admins and how this forum is run.

When you have created a forum and you have as many opinions as you have here, then you will understand our position.
