Phase 2

Mods under the hood. Intake silencer mod, Deck plate mod

Phase 3

Not exactly what I originally planned but it is something. I decided to instead of doing a SAS right away, I was going to keep saving my money and run the IFS until it blew up. I got with a buddy of mine who is a Land Cruiser guy and he hooked me up with a set of front LC coils and I bought a set taco struts with leveling spacers.

After 1 squished finger and the help of a buddies sawsal.

She was then almost ready for her maiden voyage to Moab!!

While I was under it putting the LC coils on I pulled the sway bar off. One of my favorite mods!!

Before we headed to Moab I found a set of used 285s on some alum wheels to run.

This is Long Canyon Trail in Moab

Not long after we got home from Moab she decided 250000 mile was to much for the old clutch. We got the clutch changed and threw my new homemade sliders on. then KidV and I headed out north west of the Great Salt Lake to some old Ghost Towns.

I think that would put us right about time for another trip to Moab after I sleeve my now bent upper control arms.

I can't find my pics from Moab so I will post them later.

While in Moab it finally happened. I destroyed my front end, and my rear end. So it is time for my SAS!!!

I started to tinker around with it in my garage before I hauled it to my dads shop.

and Started collecting parts

Hauled it up to my dads garage and started to cut!!

There are some good things and bad things about using my dads shop rather than my one garage.

1st its not in my way while we under go the project.
2nd he has a lot more tools and supplies than I do.
3rd we can make a mess of his shop not my new garage.

the only bad thing is it is 2 hrs away. So I can't work on it every night.

I will be heading up there this weekend and will post a progress report next week.

Most of the parts I have come from low range (I work 2 blocks from the shop). Gears from Randys. Elocker came from a user on rme4x4. Axle is a Dana 44 from an 87 waggy. It's him in my garage I will get some pics this afternoon.

Here are a few more pics of the first SAS Wrenching party we had!!

We did make some good progress..

I do have Flat top knuckles and high steer arms that will go on with the rebuild. Along with the Auburn Ected locker to complement the Toyota E-locker that is in the rear end.

My little bro stole my tires and wheels to run on his truck. He said the 37" TSL's were working his 22r to hard.

The problem is he didn't paint the other 2.

Looking at his truck I think the black will look pretty BAD ASS on my runner with my black accents.

I guess you guys don't know my brothers truck. Here it is with his tires and wheels
