That was a close call

So, I was outside tinkering on the 4Runner and a friends BMW (okay, admiring the best purchase of my life while he complains about gremlins), and I notice it getting dark. No big deal, storm blowing in. Packed up my toys and went inside. About 2 minutes into the storm, something tells me to go outside and watch the storm (love a good storm). I open the door to my apartment, and to my horror I see a tree leaning into the 4Runner and BMW. I yell for my friend to move his car, and I run to the 4Runner to move it just as the tree falls into the parking spots.

Needless to say, adrenaline was pumping.

LOL, that thing would have leaned on your truck and been fine, thats a little guy, ive pushed them over with my truck in my buddys yard before. This is whats scary, cool thing about this picture is the drove it down the trail like this!

My fiancé's 2012 Civic almost got hit by a tree limb during a bad storm a few weeks ago. She looked out the window the next morning and almost cried. She bought this car new, and has had it less than a year. She could only see it from the front, and it looked like the limb had crushed the trunk. Luckily it barely missed!

My car battery died one time so my friends had to give me a ride home. That night was a horrific storm and the tree in front of my house fell taking out the power lines and a power pole. It went right where I always park. My mom wasn't so lucky, her Grand Cherokee took part of one of the branches and put a pretty solid dent across the top.
