Took [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION] s suggestion and took the Gobi sticker off. Then I had to wash her... Love washing cars, they look sooo freshest so Clean clean!!! Lol cures my OCD

Then a new problem came up... I can't reach under the rack to clean the roof. I guess I gotta buy one of those wash mitt on a stick. Off to the RV store in morning.

Here she is all done and dry...

This is what I was working on for the pass 2.5days... Rigid Radiance w/ the back light on. Freaking finish driving around the neighborhood testing out the light bar. It's like day light.

This thing is only 12,348 lumens I can't imagine how bright the E2 series which puts out 20,240 lumens

Since you have a sunroof, and presumably frequently use it, being in Cali and all, how is the wind noise with the Gobi?

I swear I'm just going to make a macro for "How is the wind noise?" posts. I really want/need a roof rack but I don't want to regret adding noise and killing the sunroof.

Not meaning to thread Jack...BUT
Depending on the rack and options. You should be able to get one that still allows full use in regards to the open and up motions of the sunroof. In regards to noise I don't think you are going to have anything exponential that a few turns of the volume can't handle. Keeping in mind most of these guys with racks are already running bigger, heavier, durable tires. Once up to speed all the noises just start to run together IMO.
In short get the rack...you will love it.

Even with the sunroof insert installed... I can still use the sunroof. I just can't stick my head out of it...

With the rack and the light bar... I had a small bump in wind noise. But I've never had the rack with the light bar. I stalled both at the same time...

Now if you asked me if I have extra wind noise with the rack, the light bar and Raingler nets with nothing loaded .. oohhh yeah but then again I like it... reminds me of those old canvas troop carrier I use to ride in the Philippines.

I agree with the man ... the extra baggage you get from the roof rack and the utility use of it. Totally out weights all the down side of wind noise and loss of gas mileage.. On top of that... it looks bad ass

I've mentioned it in one of my other posts but this is my first ride in 15 years that hasn't had a roof rack for bikes, all in cars with sunroofs, and I'm enjoying how quiet it is with the sunroof open. I'm not going to be able to take my family of four plus dog camping without strapping stuff up top though, plus I do really like the look.

I mostly use my hitch rack but sometimes I still put bike "trays" up top on my rack. I really don't notice much wind noise. As those guys stated, it's the tires that get you...

I love my shift knob.... the TRD Pro shift knob is alittle clunky for me.As for where I got it... I bought it at a TRD event back in 2001 I think...

It's been unopenned in my collection; all this time... Use to collect alot of jdm steering wheels, shift knobs, small interior parts...

did you lose the 12v? that's awesome. i was kinda bummed when i realized it wasn't like that in the later 5th gens (or at least 14 on up). didn't realize it was direct swap.
