I finally got the duckets to replace my Weather Tech crappy liners ... Just wasn't happy with them. So I replaced them with these bad ass 3D Maxpider Kagu Rubber floor matts.

They dont go up as high as the weather techs but they look better overall and dont flop around ...

After installing LED lights on my 4runner ... I noticed how dim my reverse light was... I stumbled onto these new Back Up Lites from Rigid.

The Rigid Ignite Back up lites are super small cubes that pumps out a 1000 Lumens each!!! And they come in diffused for the back up kit... So got them thru Amazon and got them today ... Total install and wiring took 3 to 4hrs.

Took the bumper off ... took like 20minutes

Found a rubber plug which I cut and drilled a hole thru to run the wires thru to the tail light wiring.

So I wanted these to turn on when I have reverse on ... So for 2014 4runners... The reverse wires are Black & White is ground and Red is Power.

I then drilled the a hole in the bumper. I chose this location because; I know when I buy a high clearance metal bumper. I'm going to need to relocate these. This part of the bumper will be most likely be cut away.

Re-installed everything ... And tested her out!!! Came out sick

SHIM UPDATE !!!

Another reason why I will tear off KDSS system when it fails ...

With the shims ... The kdss sway bar are maxed out and because of that its blocking me from getting to the oil filter. So when I get a weekend off some time in end of February the shims are coming off...

Just pull the sway bars and strap the pistons up. Lift and KDSS do not work well because lift burns up the down travel of the piston, limiting wheel travel.

Yes sir. except I stop because having joint problems and wife stop cuz shes 6months pregnant. But all my kids train and my oldest is a coach for this kids classes...

Like a drunk pig. Actually, at first, it can be a little concerning because you are not used to the lean, but I have gotten used to how it handles and know that it is not the most stable vehicle and drive accordingly. Also, it is not my daily driver, so I do not put a lot of miles on. Although I did make a 3,200 mile trip over Thanksgiving through sever states with no issues.

I think [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION] and [MENTION=89562]bimrunner[/MENTION] have been working on some type of swaybar system on the rear to help. Not sure what kind of progress they have made yet.

I'm not happy with this system...Wont probably happen till march. Gonna have YotaMasters do it for me.

I am used to the movement and it no longer bothers me. My wife on the other hand... hates the swaying movement. I love the travel offroad.

What do you guys do about the pinstriping? I think I'd keel over if I scraped the whole side of my freshly painted or new car! :sobbing: I can't really notice it in your other pics, is it just subtle scratches, or were you able to buff them out?

Pinstripping is driving my OCD crazy. But with matte paint you cant buff it out.With regular paint you can buff them out.
So I'm currently looking for a place in SoCal to spray my whole rig in Linex Ultra ...

Sorry, was busy yesterday and saw this but didn't have time to respond.

Correct, I'm one of the first to use a Currie Anti-Rock kit we fabbed into the lower frame to give us a torsion sway bar for the rear. As far as I know, with IFS there's no way to make it fit in the front, though we did come up with some ideas, it'd be absolutely irreversible and massively complicated.

I know Walt at TAV LLC took what we did on mine, and has since done a couple other long travel builds using the setup we did with mine.

It helps keep the rear planted quite a bit more, and since I knew I was going to be towing a lot not having a sway bar in the rear was a non-starter. Even then I'll say that with Long Travel the vehicle handles like a boat. 700lb springs up front help reduce body roll, but long travel can be very disconcerting to those not used to either DRIVING the vehicle, or let alone riding in it. Rock the steering wheel back side to side at 20mph and most people will begin freaking out. Taking fishooks on the freeway at 45mph really throws you to the outside of the curve.

Steering is also pretty wallow-y and I would say you sincerely have to get used to keeping both hands on the wheel at all times. It's not a easy driver, as it's very sensitive to the crown or angle of the road.

Anyways, just some feedback on that.

Ok another SHIM UPDATE!!!

looks like I can get my oil filter changed.

I currently have a torn meniscus on my right knee and couldnt really check under the car ... But last night I ( painfully ) was able to check myself to make sure that you cant move the oil filter.

I guess; I should have double check... what the STEALERSHIP told me ... You can not get to the oil filter; if you put the car on the rack and lift it off the ground ( letting the supension droop ). But if you leave it on the ground theres plenty of clearance to get to it.

SO!!! I apologize for not double check myself the information I was given ... But looks like I can keep my KDSS with the shims on ...

as of right now... with the 2 - 1/4" shims, 1" Body Lift, 3.5" Icon maxed out ... the bottom of the fenders from the ground is 41" in front and 42" in rears. Big difference from stock ( stock suspension and tires) which was 34.5" in the front and 36" in the rears ...

Update !!!
Rocky is at YotaMasters today for 4.88 gears and front E-Locker from Harrop. Hopefully some new shoes in a couple weeks. 35x12.5R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
