Will be interested to know how well the Harrop e-locker will function. I think you are probably the first on this board to have it installed on the 5th gen.

no problems ... the only thing we did added to the body lift was to add 1" foam padding for the rear bumper. Pretty much it

3rd row conversion parts are complete.
I just picked up the SR5 3rd row curtain air bags and the 2nd row seats ...
Airbags was only $300 and the 2nd row seats were alittle expensive due to it being shipped $387...
There's no other option because I don't want to get rid of my 4runner...

I could have gone the easier route and traded this thing in but I have way too much invested in mods.
My buddies at AK1 Motorsports will tackle the install ... I plan on doing the 2nd row myself... I'll leave it to them to install the airbags, as they are qualified repair shop.
It'll be all worth it in the end ... when Me and Fam will all fit in the rig...

I've figured this whole 3rd row swap.
There's 3 stages of conversion for those of interested.
Stage 1:
You need the 3rd row seats, seat belts, and upper trim. The seat belt anchors doesn't have bolt holes. So you need to weld a plate with a nut for the seat belt anchors. Then you need to trim the factory lower panels to accommodate the new seat belt anchors. As for bolt holes for the seats. They are there under thin metal. Lay the seats down and mark them and drill. Holes with threads are there.
Stage 2:
For safety add the sr5 air bags.
Stage 3:
The second row seats and the lower rear panels.

Stage 4:
The entire interior carpet from the 3rd row donor.
BC there will be about a 1 foot section behind the 2nd row to the 3rd row now.
Side note about the safety aspect, are you not lifted 5+ inches now.... :spy:

You can attach that to stage 3 ... I'm planning on having a upholstery guy make carpet for that section...

Just got the 4runner back from YotaMasters. On my 500 mile break in ... I'm turning at about 3000rpm at 80mph. I need to get my 35's soon.
Definitely better than with stock gears. Alot less pedal is required to get up and go... but I'm babying it for the next 500miles.

Did you go 4.56 or 4.88? Which tires are you looking at and a 35X12.5 or 315/70?
I am looking at some 315/70's currently. I have a hole list of tires by size and actual size and weight of tires I have been considering.

I went with 4.88
And I'm looking at Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35x12.5R17...
She definitely isn't a slug any more but there's still that slight delay on throttle input... so I'm still keeping the SprintBooster ...

Any whistling with that roof rack wind fairing and light bar setup? I notice the ends of your fairing aren't quite flush with the roof line. Mine aren't either. Since installing my lightbar, I have a noticeable whistling between 20-40 mph. It goes away when I get faster. Thanks!
