On December 29th ( I am COVID symptoms free since the 20th ... aka RONA Survivor ).
I had to clean the mud out of Rocky and clean all my recovery gear. Due to all the mud I had on the rig and recovery gear from one of the worst recoveries Ive ever had to do. It was 5hrs on recovery in the heavy rain and in ankle deep mud.
It took 80ft of my winch line, 1 - 30ft kinetic rope, and 4 - 25ft snatch straps ( daisy chained to my winch by shackles )to pull the truck up to level ground. I also had to use a tree saver and a snatch block ( holly smokes... I love this thing. Gotta remember to use it more) and my rigged to be strapped to a cement man hole pipe ( just to keep it from being dragged down hill ). And then we had to be recovered the last 15ft; just to get to pavement and out of the trail. Lucky for me and the jeep guy that was with me ... There was another volunteer with a Older Bronco and a winch.
Spent 5 to 6hrs cleaning it all and 1.5hr cleaning the mud off the driveway.

Now for a Mod Update:
Rocky has been in AK1 Motorsports since Jan 4th. For the rear bumper install and painting. Its also getting the demello front lined and my passenger side fender which I lost in Gormar OHV park replaced and lined.
heres the pics of the work in progress:
The bumper is only test fitted and needs to be adjusted and modified to take up the 1" gap because of the 1" body lift.
here it is after being lined:
I believe I can see the finish line of this project. I have new shoes coming and new rear springs to support the new extra weight and lastly a few more scene lights.

Wired up my license plate light for my C4 bumper
Wired it from the trailer plug

Finished swapping out my KMC KM236 Tank 17x9 -38mm offset in Satin Black.
Took off my old FN Wheels Counteer Steer Type X and the spider Trax spacers
And then went to get her weight at the Cat Scales
Nearing the end of this Project... Just gotta wire the Diode Dynamics SSC2 rear flood lights. Get them installed because they need to open the holes on my C4 Bumper. And then get the pinch welds done and fix a few things. FINISH LINE

KMC/Coopers look Great! Rocky's looking bad ass as usual.
And that is one of the best looking rear bumpers out there imho.
I thought about getting one a few years ago, but when I saw my CAT scale ticket at 5850, I decided to go with a Detours hitch carrier and have been happy with it.
With no wife or little ones, I decided to take the back seats out to lighten her up and gain some space too. I discovered that I can ratchet strap my tools and recovery gear down low and in the center of the truck to help with COG in these top heavy beasts.
And that is one of the best looking rear bumpers out there imho.

Yeah before the rear bumper and wheels Rocky weighed in at 5660lbs. And now with rear bumper, wheels, rear pumpkin skid, lower shock skids, empty rotopax, traction boards, hi-lift, and full side spare. It only added 580lbs.
My old tire setup was only 86lbs per tire and rim combo.. And the tire was actually taller. The new set up is 108lbs each and a little shorter but wider. I love how it handles though; feels so planted...

Did that trailer plug relocation bracket come with the c4 bumper?

Ths bumper comes with a few items.
-The trailer plug bracket
-The license plate bracket in front of the spare tire
-The license plate bracket for placement between the rotopax and traction boards
-and few spacers for which ever light you plan on placing on the rear bumper.

I've been following this thread for a long time.. mainly because your mods and dyno numbers interested me:
so 02-21-15
TRD CAI proven a significant power gain w/ stock wheel size and so on.. what fuel did you run?
then by 12/18/2015
your peak numbers dropped significantly.. did wheel size have something to do w/ it?
then on 12/21/2015
you added the Y pipe.. gains are 27hp and 44ft/lbs mid range gain.. are those gains from the stock dyno or gains compared to 12/18/2015

If I remember this was 87octane
This was due to the jump in 285/70R17 tires
It was compare to the 12/18/2015

Curious do you have any other pics with new wheels? I'm looking at a set of the bronze but this is the only 4runner I've seen with them.
