Had installed some Diode Dynamics SSC2 in the C4 rear bumper. I was told wouldnt fit ... just openned up the mounting holes and got them to work.

I have them wired to turn on with the switch pro ... But they have a amber back light soo I wired them to my turn signals.

finally got to change my oil ...

I went with Eneos 0W20 full Synthentic Motor oil and installed my Baxter Performance Spin On Oil Filter w/ Napa Gold 1068 filter ( that has been sitting on the shelf for a year ... because I hardly drive this thing )

had an awesome time camping in Joshua Tree at Black Eagle Mine Trail ( just outside of Joshua Tree ). It was an awesome drive going to camp as it was pitch dark and we were the only ones there.

We had issue heading home as one of my Trailing arm nut wasnt torqued to spec and it worked its way loose. I had to walk nearly 2 miles to find the bushing and the bolt but couldnt find the nut.

Thank GOD for zip ties ... Crawled at 5mph for 20miles till asphalt and drove 20mph till it was 15miles to the freeway exit.

My buddy had to run into town to get us a replacement nut but it wasnt safe to drive because the rear track was soo off ... at 50mph on the freeway it would suddenly start pulling left.

Went to Freels Good Performance to have my Metaltech4x4 sliders repaired and welded to the frame

I had bent my mounting plates. I just went ahead and had them weld news ones and welded onto the frame

To help with the sag ... being 7500lbs when I have our camping gear loaded w/ my family of 6...

I installed a airlift kit #60920 ( 5"x9" ) bags on the rear...

Routed the Schrader valve to the center of my tail gate and have the bags connect together.

A couple of quick questions...how are you liking the Ypipe and the magna flow Muffler setup for sound while on the highway and hitting hills at 50-70mph? Drone? Is it a difference maker when driving it? I did see your numbers, just curious if it's a worth it item. How about the URD MAF results?

I plan on towing up and down the canadian rockies with a overland trailer with a max weight of 3500, but likely closer to 2000-3000 dependjng if there is water on board and type of gears stowed a way.

Just trying to squeeze out some extra HP/Trqs with this rig before seriously considering a supercharger.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my thread. And yes the journey had been amazing.

The Y pipe and Magnaflow when brand new .. it was very minimal growl. After a couple of years the Muffler is nicely worn and makes a little bit more noise. But as for drone ???? My 4.88 gear whine is louder that my exhaust setup; at 70mph. It only get louder; if I gear down and hit the gas more...

As for the URD MAF corrector... I felt is smoothen the run out but with the intake, exhaust, Y pipe and the MAF corrector is worth it but can't hold the candle to a supercharger...

I'm seriously looking into get a trailer but I would want to be blown first... lol

All packed and set to go to UTAH!!!

Stop at Barstow to gas up and check weight.

Always wondered how much Rocky weighted. 7960lbs w/ me and the family ( 2 adults and 4 kids ), all the camping gear for 5 days, both 4gallon Rotopax, all my recovery gear,, a 77qt lifetime ice chest, and about 18gallons of gas...

1st night at St George, UTAH ... love this place !!! It's cold and windy but worth the family time I'm getting.

A blower might be in the future for the rig but next year...
Squirrel'ing my money right now as we might go on strike next year.

If I do plan on doing the blower ... I'll get back on here and post before URD MAF, after the URD MAF, and blower w/o it...

I surrendered and installed a ToyTec Diff drop. Because I torn my inner and outer cv boots. I'm just installing them as a pre-caution. Diff drops aren't really needed at 3" lift. I'm at 4.5" lift in the front which explains the crazy angles.

I have a set of CVJ axles going in next week. I wanted RCV forged axles but just couldn't justify the price tag. So hoping the upgraded CVJ boots will Fair better.

I'm also going to rebuild my stock axles after the CVJ axles going in.

While I was at it ... touched up my CBI skids sprayed them TRD Grey.

Picked up my rig at Freel Good Performance in Montclair, CA ....

Had them install my CVJ T9808TR axles and install the EimKieth PCK. It significantly made my ride smoother and feel very stock like. Get them install at Freel Good Performance for $200 bucks and a couple of hours wait.

With the diff drop from ToyTec ... my angles are alot better

Like a boat on slow turns. Especially when making lefts front a dead stop.

just an update !!!!

DONT !!! I mean DONT !!!

buy CVJ T9808TR axles ... the boots tore in 2 days of use why ??? because of the boot clamp came off. Then sent me a new clamp and that slipped and tore it even more.

worst $900 dollar investment Ive ever spent. Why because they dont offer any warranty; for lifted vehicles...
