So i was one of the first to get in on the GB...so after 33 days, it arrived along with the TRD emblems. Everything looks good to go! I will post pics after installation, it’s raining now so not until later.

I am installing on a Limited too. Does the TRD Pro black garnish piece go directly over the OEM piece with the raised chrome (your's blacked out) piece or does that chrome part need to come out first? Seems it would not sit flush otherwise?

I actually tried it both ways. Ended up keeping the oem piece underneath it.

For that price, can't complain. There is a very small gap, which is noticeable from the side; cartrimhome has updated their listing to state that.

I see some glue? Did you add glue to your letters?

I put a small dab in the indentation holes...i have some small gaps on either side like everyone else, and the fitment isn’t the best. The black trim piece does not fit on all the way. But for free, since my money was refunded, no complaints.

I really like the Pro grill but not at OEM prices.

I don't know if I could live with that gap though. I think I am just going to wait for it to pop up on Amazon and be Prime eligible so if I don't like it I can send it back no problem.

Well what do you know look what just showed up. According to my tracking this was the first order. Box was soaked like it was sitting in the rain. Accepted it for the hell of it and because I'm impatient. But looks like everything is intact. Will see how it fits this weekend. Going to try and wrap it without the TOYOTA and see how it looks.

FYI - I Ordered on eBay from Happydreamer666, $145, on Jan 9 and showed up today to my surprise. Well wrapped and looks great. I’ll be installing on a LTD, but think I’ll wait for a warmer day.

thats a good idea..yea mine didnt fit all the way either. not even sure if the bottom for of tape is making contact lol

So update...i parked facing the sun all day, and the blk center piece softened up where i could push it on all the way. The fitment is much better now. I’m going to plastidip the gaps on the edges to blend everything in. Although the MGM is probably the best color that masks the gap (besides black).

I think it would help out a lot if seller’s name was posted along with you installs. Since it seems some are shipping theirs on time while others are not.
