Imagine my surprise when I find out cartrims is the same as the eBay seller that just got done wasted the f*ck out of my time. Same PayPal account at least so idk. Kicking myself for not noticing.

I found your number but I don’t have insights into any actual order details for anyone - just when they were placed and the order ID. I’m sending my POC a message right now requesting your tracking info and also explaining your eBay frustration using info you provided before.
This is the first time I’ve ever had someone report an issue, so I’m hopeful the eBay situation is just a one off. I haven’t heard of any complaints with cartrimhome or know how cartrimhome is affiliated to eBay - maybe it’s a different division or area, not related at all, or just a one off / unfortunate mistake by the manufacturer.
I will speak to you via DM on findings. If something large comes from it, I’ll post it on this thread so everyone is aware.

I appreciate the follow up. I sent a long ass detailed message back but idk if it went through it's not showing up and it keeps saying I have to wait 60 second D's to message you again. I spent a bunch of time typing that up too.
Long story short. The first email and tracking stuff on ebay said it was coming from overseas it provided a link to a tracking site that was supposedly supposed to update in 7 days. So I waited 7 days and nothing changed. I sent and email and this is what I got:
"Dear friend，the tracking number is 1Z0W37F003328####5 , can you pls contact the UPS ? you can call International:
1-866-782-7892
Dear friend, any question, pls feel free to cotnact us"
So I checked that tracking as soon as he sent it and the package was already on its way back to KENTUCKY and not overseas.
I asked for my money back naturally. What follows is 3 days of me asking clearly for a refund 4 God damn times in a row. I also spent an hour on the phone with PayPal setting up a ****ing despute.
"the tracking number is 1Z0W37F003328##### ,shipping by UPS , it is instock in USA warehouse , can you pls contact local ups ?
have a nice day
best regards"
Next email sent right after the last
"it will be arrange to send it to you ,so pls contact local UPS in Amercan , owing to he apartment number is either missing or incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address. "
*Nothing was wrong ups made a mistake which i could have caught if I had the tracking. Not only that but I can't ****ing change a shipment because I didn't directly pay for the shipping myself. But at least he took two days to tell me that twice even though I had asked for the refund very bluntly three times at this point. It's also a good thing I took my lunch break to call UPS to get told sorry we ****ed up but where not doing anything about it. So that was fun too.

Then I got all caps lock on this mofo and he got the message.
Instead of owning to the mistake and making it painless for me he made it as hard as possible understand the shipping and get my money back.

Yes, I got all your messages. So, here is what I was told. carmodzone is an affiliate company of cartrimhome and is run by entirely different people. My guy confirmed and acknowledged the carmodzone folks made an error by entering the incorrect delivery address for your order on eBay. While they did ship your order from a fulfillment center in the US that had stock at the time, the delays were caused because of their error; they then made the issue worse by replying back to your email inquiries without a full understanding of the problem. He didn’t try to sugar coat any of the issues and acknowledged it is their affiliate division who made the mistake.
As far as your order from cartrimhome, they are doing their best to ship it out on Saturday (US) rather than waiting for a Monday. He said he would request this be done as a courtesy for the eBay issue you had but could not guarantee it would happen for sure since he’s not in the office.
In addition, as a sorry for their eBay affiliates screw up, CarTrimHome would like to send you a center console box FREE of charge if you want one. Just let me know and I’ll pass along the word.
