Yeah it has been on here before. It actually is a nice 4runner for someone who wanted to lift and put new tires on anyway. Just rip all that suspension and wheels off and sell them. The door hinges should bolt off and on I assume. It is a 4wd with rear diff lock and the chassis looks really clean.
 
I wouldnt take the airbags off I would get a more aggressive looking wheel and tires get the stock tail lights back on there and cruise with it.I bet it rides pretty smooth with all that airbag suspension and the doors wouldnt bother me just something diff. u dnt see on a 4runner everyday
 
Look on craigslist at all the locations in Washington. There are TONS of 99 and 2000s listed at $13000. So much anger. I can't buy anything local... Lol

tell me about it, that why i ended up in the same car my mom used to drive me to high school in 10 years later, i got it for 3k and no car payments so i can't complain at all, but it sure would have been nice to have one with lower miles and one that was my own, but hey i'm happy now, but it's still b.s. you cant buy a nice clean, lower mile runner here for less then 10k, by lower miles i mean less then 80k...which isn't low at all really when looking at fords and other comparable vehicles
 
all that jazz and bling and no Super charger? that would have made driving it more fun.


rear diff lock is not going to get used on this one.

yeah i don't think i would pay that, maybe 10k tops with a 160k on it, and to be honest i don't know why but i just feel like the thing has been beat on from looking at the pictures, nothing in particular it just doesn't seem well treated to me.

also "THIS CAR WILL BE SOLD REALLY FAST"

is he telling us that or is that just positive thinking?
it's gotta be the latter, 17k+ for 170k basically 5 year old truck?

Not that fast. I been seeing this ad probably since June. Seriously? Who would pay that much for such a high mileage car? Sometimes I really do think some dealers and sellers actually use crack when coming up with their prices.

One time on craiglist, someone had a 2002 Taco Double Cab with 220k miles on it and he wanted $12900 for it. I almost wanted to email him and just say "wtf?"
 
this is my conversation with some guy selling a 4runner on CL:

ME: Hi, im interested in the 4runner. how many miles are on it?

HIM: 153 miles

ME: ok cool, does it have the rear diff locker?

HIM: yes it have a tow package and drive like new. No leaks or issues

ME: Ok sounds great, but to be clear, it does have a locker right?

HIM: yes

ME: Ok cool. sorry about the delay, I am at work right now. Have the timing belt/water pump been changed recently?

HIM: I dont. Know

ME: ohh, ok, how long have you owned it then?

HIM: Im a mechanic I both the truc 2 weeks ago. I can put new timing n water pump x $500. so I got d truck whit mecanic problems and all fix and ready to go.
Now no more questions...u want d truck come whit $5500 or leave it. Don't wast my n ur time

actually I couldnt get anyone to buy my factory hitch that was listedon t4Rfor a month but I sold it in just one day on Craigslist...just sayin'
