Yes. It is illegal to drive under the influence of marijuana and it can result in a DUI, just like alcohol. Anyone with 5 nanograms or more of delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (known as THC) per milliliter in whole blood (CRS 42-4-1301) while driving can be arrested for DUI. The consequences of DUI is dependent on the driver but they can include fines, jail time and a revoked license.

Testing for THC is nationally standardized to be pass/fail at 50 nano grams or more. If you test for lower concentrations just about anyone can have a false positive. so I don't take your word to be true here. Also you pretty much agreed with me, with the statement I highlighted red.

Basically if you smoked today and were tested pass/fail to be under 5 nanograms 30-65 days from now you would fail and receive a DUI. even if you weren't using while driving.

when you take a piss test for hiring purposes they test for anything under 50 nanograms the ONLY time they test for lower concentrations is if there is somehow a questionable result then the second sample becomes tested at 19 nanograms. They had to many people receive false positives to continue testing at a 0 nanogram limit.

I am an engineer. Duh. If I make a post that involves engineering I take into account others reading it will judge me harsher than if I were a ditch digger (shut up [MENTION=2]Thai[/MENTION])

You are a medical professional of some type and you made sure we knew that when you posted your opinions on pot. By doing that we WILL judge you harsher than, for example, me if I spouted off on some medical opinion that I know nothing about (again, shut up [MENTION=2]Thai[/MENTION] lol).

If you throw up your creds then expect to be held to a higher standard. If you want to be a regular guy with an opinion then don't post up "I am a (insert title here) and because of that my opinion counts more." Life lesson #346

So was I lying? Didn't say it made sence, but you questioned my story, there is the law on the Colorado web site.

never called you a lier, I simply found it incredibly hard to believe someone got taken to jail and butt raped for a bag of pot. Specially in a state that has legalized the use. My state certainly doesn't condone the use of pot and I've been ticketed three times in traffic stops for having possession. Never got tested to see if i was on it while driving or taken to jail.

I could see a lawyer chewing this up and throwing it out of court to prevent prison time. It would take a pretty pissed off cop and a long record to take someone to jail over. unless multiple charges were involved like concealed weapons tied with possession tied with resisting arrest or something..

I know. And that is just one case. I have a strikingly similar story about a kid that was on heroin. Although he had severalarrests for drug possession.

In all my years of using the herb I've learned a few things about it . Depending on the type of, it can knock you out or perk you up ! Being how I had to bust my son recently I saw how at an age where they really can't understand the process & how it kills your drive to do anything . I believe it depends on the individual that being said I now can get by with a one hitter , but some guys smoke a whole J by themselves & their as high as me on one hit . I definitely saw my son suffer & he had no clue he was & he's a jock but he was for sure losing his drive . Some people just can't do anything or they go off the rail . It's case by case ! IMO

Have you tried those Openvape pens? Pre-loaded disposable cartridges, two ingredients - the glycol and straight organic co2 blasted cannabis oil. They come in a variety of types of strains, so quick, easy and super discrete. As an long time fan of a simple batters box as well, those pens are fantastic.

Why should he? Why should I have to show my creds on an internet forum? How is saving lives part of the equation? I have saved several lives throughout the years and I am NOT anything medical. Here is my point then I'm out: It does not matter what your opinion is on anything. Yours is just as good as [MENTION=2]Thai[/MENTION]s. My point is, when you start throwing your weight around by saying "I'm such-and-such so my opinion should matter more" is the issue for me.

I will say this: If I ever have to ask a life or death emergency medical question in the off topic section of a Toyota 4Runner forum, [MENTION=2]Thai[/MENTION] would be my go to guy, not you.
