I don't know if I missed it or not but how did you wire the alt? Is the caddy alt just like the chevy 3 wire? If you don't feel like explaining it a link would be awesome. Now that my lift is done I'm doing my electronics and lighting next. Thanks and your runner is looking awesome I'm slightly jealous but mines getting there.

Sure thing bud, I've been doing my research. I'm just trying to find a good write up on doing a dual battery system now.

I have looked into doing a dual battery setup. It didn't look to be to hard. I figured with a optima yellow top and a 140 amp alt I should be good. If not my plan was to just wire the Pos. cables together and just ground the other battery to the frame and run a second fuse box for the second battery. I also dont have the electric windows and locks. Only option my runner has is A/C and im taking that out anyways to use the fans for cooling since my runner runs hot on the trails when its 90 degrees outside.

I got back from the June MOAB trip and dropped off the face of the earth into "Family Life". There's been a lot going on with my immediate family and work life lately (all good stuff, nothing tragic) but it's kept me quite busy. As we all know, when life gets too crazy some things have to step aside.... Hope you can all understand that. If not, well I can't help you. :becky:
I received a few PMs while I was away that I couldn't answer and a few I could, if you were one of the "couldn't answer" PMs, I truly apologize.
Truck Status: I still have things to fix on the Dawg lurking from the Moab adventure (an alt bracket problem, some transmission solenoids to change and a t-case rear output bearing to change). I still drive it to work a couple days a week but it's not ready for any more wheeling right now. I plan to get back to it this week, since a few distractors are finished and will be posting up my events again real soon.
Bring the Glam Runner up, we can derp it up too!

So glad to see you back! I have learned so much from your posts. I'm not quite as handy with the fabrication work, so I may not benefit from your bumpers, but they definitely inspire me!
