Whoever's got that cardboard... need to make a run of those bumpers I bet you would have 5-10 buyers... I'd be interested for sure! Can't find a good plate rear bumper for the 2nd gen's anywhere.

Thanks for all the great comments! Hope everyone gets something from this build, I had a lot of fun researching, building and fabricating!
So early June my 19y/o daughter totaled her car, no one was hurt, just her pride. The damage was too much to repair, cost wise, so she has been daily driving the Dawg, which of course she fell in love with!
That said, I haven't seriously pursued the sale of the Dawg since we needed the vehicle HOWEVER, in a couple weeks that requirement will be over and the Runner will available for the right buyer.
At that point I will put it back up for sale... So If anyone is interested or know someone that may be, shoot me a PM.

Getting rid of some chrome
Grill, door handles, mirrors and rear bumper all blacked out.
Only things left with chrome are the windshield trim and the pwr antenna tip.
Next project: Carpentry

I know this thread died when you sold it, but my god, what an inspiration reading this has been. I'm a 4runner noob who just stumbled on this thread and read all of it. Kudos on one of the most badass builds I've seen. I picked up a 1995 3.slo 5spd that turned out to have a blown motor, so I picked up another 2nd gen, a 1992 6cyl 5spd. Clean with 99k. Looking forward to stealing lots of your innovations for it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful rig, and cheers brother! :cheers:

New project in-work...
For all those still subbed to this thread, I've got a new project that I'll be documenting eventually -- 2004 T4R Limited V8.
Got it from within my local Toyota group so I know the truck quite well and helped with several of the mods... so I know it's history and how it's been treated (very good!). It's already been modded up and there's not much left to do, so hopefully I can use this one more than I used the 2nd Gen.
I'll post a link to the new build thread when I get all the pics gathered.
