The FJ is so sick!!

Rode in one today. It's got a bluetooth ipod player which is awesome, the rear view monitor in the rear view mirror, and an all in one key!! It's just too cool. What do I have to get these on my runner!

Don't know about the new foreigner, but the old foreigner had some great features too!

If the Fj had more windows and Not 17 blind spots it would be better. I definitely like them modded out. They look really aggressive.
 
I have had my 2012 FJ for 2 months now and enjoy it immensely. I don't see or have any issues with the claimed blind spots. The mirrors are more than adequate. Still enjoy the 4Runner as much as ever too. They are different vehicles with different roles for me and both handle their roles well.
 
I love the way they look. And they appear to be quite competent off-road. However as DWM-4Runner pointed out they are different vehicles for different purposes. And I'll add at different price points. After riding a few hundred miles in one (on a ski trip to MT), I'd never own one. I'd rather have the better on-road manners of the 4Runner.
YMMV.

One other thing - I'd guess that it's similar to what Nissan does with the Pathfinder/Xterra - one is an entry-level 4x4 and the other is a more refined SUV. I've never driven a Pathfinder, but I've rented a couple of Xterras and it's a rough/raw experience - much like the FJ Cruiser.
 
A guy I work with off-roads in his FJ. Told him one of these days he's gonna walk out to the parking lot and it'll be sittin' on blocks and I'm gonna own a set of black TRD rims...I really like those.

Today, he made the mistake of parking next to me right after I returned from picking up my 4R with the newly installed OW 2.5. Suddenly his FJ doesn't seem so high. It was a Kodak moment...

Don't waste your time and freedom, those 16s won't fit on your SE 4R unless you change the front brakes for the smaller ones!

Now if you're interested in selling them for ... a steal... they will fit mine ;):
 
Love that stance! How do you like the all pro rear coils and what made you decide on these? And any more pics?
 
Two different trucks as has been said. A friend and FJC owner rode with me on a run the other weekend and was very impressed with my truck on some significant obstacles. Just sayin'...
