What year model bumper did you get? Was it for the Tacoma or the 4runner?

I got the 2nd gen 4runner model, it was a hard decision though. If you look at pictures of the the installed taco model (94-05) the side protection pitches far down and out (matching the body lines of the taco) and I didn't think I'd like that despite the similar mounting brackets. It's all your preference.
See what I'm saying though...
now if you go this route I'm VERY interested to see your finished product haha

Thanks for the color description - it came out nice! I ask only because I had wondered if you had used the same can that I saw at Lowes/Home Depot and wanted to know the end result.

I've got bronze wheels already, but I picked up a spare that has an aluminum finish wheel. I'm trying to color match it as close as I can and I've yet to find a similar spray paint... The hunt is still going...
My wheels are more of a gold/bronze, like this below:

Bumper is mounted my friend. I owe you a lunch if you are ever in Arkansas. Had to make a couple small shims to fit between frame rails to bridge the weld gaps but an awesome fit.

I took the time to re-wire my blinkers out of the corner lights today. A little bit of my take on crazydubman's set up. I wish I could have recessed them but this is what I came up with...
Ended up having to drill two more holes (one on each side) to actually mount the LED's. I was pretty bummed they didn't come with any hard ware so I had to do some searching around the garage for some nuts and bolts that would work
Oh yeah and I got some D-Rings haha. All and All a pretty easy project, took me about an hour.

Got out and did a bit of wheelin today

Ordered LED's and completed the gauge cluster and key ring lastnight also upgraded my stereo aux chord, the other one shit out

I have been in school for a little over a month into my junior year now, these are the photos my old man has been sending me, I could not be happier with the rack, the quality is unparalleled, the option to have it tig welded is an option I'd recommend to everyone, not to mention the new baddass logo plate on the back
My dad surprised me and added another support and got it painted by his buddy before he brought it up.
And the finished product:
The first bolt Josh sent to me gauled up so that shit on the front pads is Anti-seize, not rust haha
Don't Judge me on the CT4WD sticker, spent alot of time as a kid and young adult in Canada playing hockey, and I thought the sticker was badass. Not to mention I'm a sticker Junky.
