the hits keep a coming... when i lock my runner with the keless... i do not get a....

sound from the horn or a chirp. We just got this thing on monday and i just assumed that it would give some sort of sounding confirmation that its locking. Is this broken or is there a way that the previous owner could have turned this off? The lights still flash twice to show that its locking, just no sound.

FYI, its a 2008 sr5

Programming the alarm to arm/disarm silently:


* Start with the LED button in the off position, then turn the vehicle's iginition key on then off.

* Within 10 seconds, cycle the LED button to on then off three time (press and release the button 6 times)

* If the chirps were off before you started, then you will hear 1 chirp indicating that they been turned on and your vehicle will honk when armed/disarmed.

* If the chirps were on before you started, then you will hear 2 chirps indicating that they have been turned off.

Even if your alarm is run silently, if an intrusion is attemped your alarm will still indicate this with 4 chirps when the alarm is disarmed.

awesome. do you think this was diabled by the previous owner? I am not familiar with the LED light without looking at it, but it sounds simple enough.
