The MOD every T4R needs!

Ok so I've only had my mine since 4th of July but I noticed this on several others I test drove
The tubing that drains all the water from the ac system drops all that water directly onto the top of the passengers side frame rail. I know we have good paint and it will take a while, but won't that just cause erosion/corrosion having water constantly dripping in the same area?
I'm putting a coupler on mine and a slightly longer tube to drop the water past the frame rail.

What do y'all think?

It is the same way on my 2003 V8 which is in the south so the ac is almost constantly running. I looked at it when I saw where it dripped and not a single spec of rust. If you want to be sure you can do this but mine is 11+ years old (manufactured in October 2002) and no signs of rusting.

Drive through one big rainstorm and the amount of water your frame will see will be equal to several years of drainage. No big deal.

My frame rails are a nice rusty orange from road salt and driving on the beach. I wouldn't care if I were you.

Actually, I'd like to tell you that interfering with the AC drainage on your truck can lead to mold growing in there and the smell is 10 times worse than any spots of rust.
