The power window blues...........

My pops was sitting in the right rear seat(never has people in it) and operating the window. Of course, he held the switch in the up position too long, and broke the following: regulator, motor, master switch, and harness(whew....).
After much r&r of door panels, switches, and electrical circuit testing, I got the system fixed. It took a long time to gather all the a fore mentioned parts. Got the the last new right rear motor in Toyota's North American parts warehouse. After buying a new Toyota regulator and motor, I opted out for a used master switch (original had a burnt out breaker,no power to the up circuit). I thought it would be worth documenting this for others who come across this "type" of situation. The harness burnt at the flex section in the driver's door(see pic).

I upgraded the harness shielding(nylon/plastic tubing/better quality tape) in the drivers door since I had it pulled out for repair/restoration. The lesson here, if you have wiring harness issues, "check the moving/flex sections of the harness". While in there, I found another wire that was just hanging on with one piece of copper. Hope this helps others out there.
