So today I picked up a e-locker housing, not sure yet what I'm gonna do with it, not sure if I want to source another full e-locker rear end and a 3rd and use those for the trailer... -that would be ideal so if I ever blow a rear end I'd have a spare locking rear already to go, or I could just find a locking 3rd and modify it to go in the back of my '85 pickup and go ARBs all the way around in the runner(my ideal plan). But the price was too good to keep passing up. If nothing else I can sit on it till another op presents itself.
With my back the way it is currently I highly doubt I'll be deploying, so I guess I can start planning more for the trailer and the runner to get it ready for camping season. First things first in the runner is a rear shocks and then a regear -this is why I'm leaning more for the ARBs over e-locker. I just think in the long run ARBs will be cheaper

Was wondering why I saw you drive by my house today must of been picking up the elocker from that totaled 97?
I plan on getting rid of the elocked housing after I'm done building something else, but I have the same plan with the camping trailer put an assembled rear axle under the trailer for spare parts and such but leaning towards just a welded diff for cheapness factor and because if I was to throw a arb in the trailer it wouldn't get used and the seals would break imop when you need it most.

im liking them a lot! though its really hard to tell how they ride being i have blown shocks in the rear. but even with the blown shocks i dont bottom out like i used to with the 8 wraps. i know i should get some pics, i will now that i know someone is wanting them...

so tonight i finished up my wiring project, or well at least got a good start on it. i still have some changes and final details i need to do/figure out, but the large part is done. i wired up 2 of my LED flood lights on the CBI light pole, -this is one of the things im gonna redo, but it working. man those LEDs are bright, 27w ea, and in a flood pattern they really light up a good area. along with that i replaced all of the interior trim panel clips from the B pillars back with new ones from toyota. its great to have nice solid panels again, the drivers side did not have any that were not broken in some way shape or form so it rattled around a little. i also go my rear PIAA LED fogs wired up to my front fog lights, so that when i turn my big IPFs on the rears come on too. and i wired up my PIAA LED camp kitchen lights on my back bumper. its been a day and a half of misery and wiring, but im in the home stretch now. yesterday i spent cleaning up all the wiring and running everything in looms that i had previously just ran behind panels. so it looked like a 3yo had done my wiring lol. now it looks somewhat like i knew what i was doing. ill post up pics tomorrow. im tired and sore now, i just want to sleep

it sounds like a lot, but really it isnt... the kitchen lights are just that, they are on the inside of the back bumper(facing the truck when the swing arm is closed) and only seen when the bumper is opened and the table is down...

You must be serious about backing up with all the light, you must be the best backwards driver ever. Jk, I know it's nice to have that light back there when you roll into camp at 0darkthirty and have to set up. Awesome truck man.

so i went camping this past weekend and had a chance to actually use the rear bumper, and boy was it nice! from the light pole to help set up camp and light the camp, to the table for preping the food(amazing food if i do say so myself) it all worked great, and i am very happy with it. this trip was originally planned as a get away before i leave for deployment but due to somethings happening outside of my control i may not end up going. but that did not stop us from this camping trip. a couple friends and i headed out of town on thursday to go kick back in the woods, drink a few beers, eat some good food, chill out/kick back and do nothing other than what ever we felt like doing, like shooting guns, building big fires, and sleeping in and staying up late...
on to the pictures cause well sense you weren't there i wont bore you with any more of the details as most of it is insider stuff and would probably bore you
