Here is the picture of the light output from last night from outside the trunk. Hella bright.
Hey. Where in Vancouver can I pick these lights up? I was thinking about this very same problem last week.

A little update. Over Black Friday I found a great deal to one of the pieces of my puzzle. Method nv wheels are now ticked off! Now onto looking at lift options before I decide to go bigger beefier tires. I just hope our Canadian dollar starts recouping...
Wish the weather was better so I can take this beast out for a proper photo shoot. I envy you guys who live in areas with little rain.
I also decided to put my old unit patches and some morale patches in my car since seeing some guys do this in their rig.
Till next time. Should I do lift first or get the led light bar option first? Opinions welcomed.

Yes you understand my frustration as well lol. I have to say though, they did do a stellar job on the wrap. So far it has held up great. No pinstriping as of yet since I only went light offroading so far. Haven't done a "proper" trail yet. To be continued I guess.

Forgot to say. Also added some infinity reference dash speakers to replace the stock ones. Man, what a difference in sound quality with just a cheap mod. The only thing annoying was grinding and bending the original brackets to fit these fat little speakers. Was too busy trying to get it soldered with bass blockers I forgot to take photos

Looks great! I'd love to do something like this or the matte clear XPel. But $$$$.
weird I can't believe i found your truck. I saw it in Richmond when I was getting bubble tea and it was pre method wheels (the same night you took the night shot) . The wrap job looked good but i wish i saw it during the day i couldn't tell if it was silver or matte gun metal it was very cool. I did notice you had a lot of shit on your dashboard tho to each their own i guess.

Nice! Im guessing you were at either pearl castle or Chatime (my two go to places). Anyways, the wrap really should be seen in daylight. It gives very interesting and different sheen/color in daylight vs sodium vapor, fluorescent, halogen lights. Sometimes I look at it and it looks bronze and sometimes it looks metallic silver like a delorean. Next time you wanna have a look shoot me a PM we can meet up :thumb3:
Right now its dirty as hell now since the non stop rain started a while back.

Latest addition was the xtreme HID kit from xenondepot. Excellent product. Was very quick to install. The only pain was going back and forth on the polarity of wires to the stock headlight harness took a while. Lots of excess wires to tuck away but nothing a couple of Zip ties won't fix.
Little pre organization required to see what you are doing:
**Disclaimer. My before photos are not stock lamps. I did the H9 headlight mod when I got the truck. So difference in brightness between old stock lamps to HID will be far greater than what is shown**

The brightness is quite noticeable. All photos taken with same ISO, shutter speed and aperture. I have seen a lot of before after comparisons but not seeing anyone stating if the pictures were taken with the exact same settings.
Next up. Auxbeam light bar!

I went with the 4300K as per the recommendation of Xenondepot rep. So far I am only one day in and the throw is far better than the halogen lamps. I forgot to add I did the head light bulb mod to change to the philips earlier when I first bought the truck. I need to put a disclaimer before the pictures lol. So from regular stock lamps to HID the difference will be greater.

Latest edition is the auxbeam 42 inch curved light bar. It was a ***** to get it to fit into the standard brackets on the gobi rack. Had to hammer it in to make it fit.
Still need to get larger bolts to make it fit closer into the bracket without damaging it.
I used a waterproof connector and ran the wire down the weather strip along the driver side of the windshield. Overall took about 2-3 hours to install and was pretty easy as long as you have the right tools.
Didn't have to take any of the interior trim pieces out to install the switch and wiring for it as some have done. Found an opening large enough for my arm to fish through to the empty switch bank.

Also got two smaller pods I think I might use for the rear facing lights on the rack.
My plan is to wire each of the pods into the pre wired pigtails coming out of either side of the rear portion on the rack. My question is, whether or not the wires inside the gobi rack are all one big circuit? I am planning to run the wiring harness up the passenger side of the windshield to the front passenger side wiring pigtail that comes out the rack. Would this plan work?
