I pulled the rear diff tonight so i could swap it with a complete diff with a Lockright i picked up for $100. After it was all apart, i realized that the new diff was a older 4 cylinder diff and not the V6 that comes in the 3rd gen. While it was apart, i discovered that the rear wheel bearings that i did less than 20k miles ago are effed :redbrick:. I know they were done properly so i think i may have some bent axle shafts.
Looking like its time for a rear E-locker and the FROR full float setup. I'd like to apologize in advance to my bank account.

Throw that diff in and run it. It will handle anything you put it through for a while. I've been running 4cyl diffs with 38's in my 85 and dual cases and never had a problem. Do the FROR full float and save up while you search for an Elocker.
Just my 2 cents:driving:
