Cup Holder Mod

I'm not really sure why it has taken me almost 3 years to do this.

There were 2 things that i really missed about my old 2000 4Runner. First is the IMJ green color. Second was the cup holders in the center console. I am one step closer!

yes my interior is dirty. shut up

I'm not going to do a writeup or anything since we already have a few on that. Had it done in about an hour thanks to the great writeups by Bob at 4runners.org and JohnsD90 on here.

I think i'm just gonna leave it chrome. The black looks really good especially with the Sunfire Red, but i'm gonna go for a more stock look.

Awesome updates man...It'll be refreshing to see the finished projectors in a stock chrome housing. Haven't seen anyone done it recently since GottabeTRD, from what I recall.

The black retrofit headlights look so mean! I just really like how the chrome housings and clear corners look on my truck so i'm gonna leave it like that.


I'm also to lazy to paint them :lol:

The retrofit looks pretty sharp so far, Steeze. I'm with you on keeping the look closer to stock w/the chrome housing. If I ever do a retrofit on my rig, it'll look just about the same as yours.

Congrats on finishing up the rear bumper, btw.

The rear bumper is at a stopping point but i doubt it will ever be finished

It works well enough for now.

I'm Baaaaaa-aaaaaack! My 4runner was down for so long with engine issues, I just wasn't driving it or doing anything with it, so I wasn't on the forum much either. I miss all my 4runner buddies!! It's running good again so I'm getting back into it. Now I need to do what you just did, the cupholder mod and headlights! And a winch finally!

Thanks Addison! Your retro thread gave me a lot of pointers and helped out a lot! I went with the Morimoto Mini D2S kit. Did the 55w ballasts 5000k bulbs. Im sure its not the best kit in terms of light output but it is night and day compared to the PnP kit that was in there!

Correct! Bulbs are the Morimoto 5five 5000K
