Decided against spraypainting anything.. replacing the wipers.. also bought:

Xtreme XT858 Fog Lights
Deer Warnings...

With the fog lights I want to hook it up to the electric system to have them auto shut off with the headlights..

I got deer warnings because almost hit 2 on the way to my mom's..

I will be posting pics of the upgrades as they are done - and step by step.

those deer things can spook a deer that's just grazing on the side of the road into running in front of your car from what i've heard.

Ive heard nothing but good things about the deer things. We go hunting a lot and all of my buddies have them on their big hunting trucks and always have had them. But no telling?!? Hope they work for you though!

We've all seen the wind-powered stick-on deer/animal alerts you can get for the bumper that work at speeds above 30mph or so... but how many of you have seen these electronic (12V powered) ones that (supposedly) work at any speed? I assume they might be less damaging to the vehicle's appearance since they can likely be hidden behind the grille...

And regarding whether an animal would jump in front of an approaching vehicle, it's not likely. But your headlights are another story-- animals tend to stop and stare at them.

I GOT MY SUBS INSTALLED!!! (that is a shout of JOY!!!) I am so glad to have the BOOM back in my life.... but it came with a few glitches:

The deck that was in the truck (one I think my uncle had installed before we did our trade.) didn't have RCA's and the idiot who installed it put a mini-amp behind it (you can't amplify an amplifier)... so I had to get a whole NEW deck.. yippee!! so I got a $99 Clarion deck (with a 1 year warranty)...

I have to get new speakers in the front, but I will do that next month...

I also put my t4r.org stickers on my truck on the rear side windows... I will take a pic of that too...

I have not installed the deer warnings - and the reason I got them was because both my mom and dad have them on all their cars... and they have noticed it helped....
