well this year I have decided to limit the shows I go to , as I'm so busy in my shop . I'm always away on weekends going to shows , so this year I'm making the time to work on my other stuff by not being away every weekend ...

that being said .. look what "woke up" this morning

yeahhhh ... finally installed my mud flap today

also was able to replace the failing fuel pump today.
got the fuel tank out

old pump off and replaced with a new walbro

and test drive

well fall is here . took the ol' girl out for her last drive of the season ... it was a beautiful day .
topped off the fuel tank and added some stabalizer and blanketed her for the cold with her cover . Off to her cave she goes for hybernation till spring .

well , Her 5th season is here
woke her up this morning ... and with new tags , went for a cruise

I have a few things I want to do this year , some more powder coated pieces as well as some more engine upgrades

How was the purple ice with red coolant?

and now with the rest of the truck running royal purple synthetics , I decided to try there "purple ice" in my freshly replaced coolant.

I also love the RP, but I have not tried the Purple Ice. Have you noticed any difference using it? Does it play nice with the red stuff?

I don't have a numerical temp gauge , so I can not tell you if it does what it says . With the supercharger and the heat of the summer , I figured it couldn't hurt .
