It's been way too long since my last update, so let's get y'all caught up.

First off, I created a group here on the Pullman/Moscow general area for anyone with 4x4s to get together and help each other out, hit trails, etc. If anyone's in the area and wants to get connected, the facebook page is called "4x4 On The Palouse"

Our first outing some of the original members:

A different run:

Also figured I should probably be prepared in the event of needing to get pulled out or if I had to pull someone else out, the addition of some recovery points would be helpful.

The rear hitch mounted d-ring came from Woody's 4x4 Shop in Vancouver, WA, and was roughly $45

Front mounts came from another member, Legokcen, and all three d-rings are CSI 4.75 ton shackles.

Finally, got myself a light bar!! Arsenal Offroad 42" Curved 240w with MicTuning wiring harness for $130, and mounts from our very own SRQFabrications.

Time for an update since I've been inactive for quite some time now:

Upon arriving home for the summer from college, I took my rig into firestone for the regular tire rotation/balance & alignment, but they claimed they couldn't do my alignment due to my steering rack having "too much play" and wanted a grand to replace it. Screw that.

Bought a new A1 Cardone steering rack + ITRE's for $430 from Partsgeek and spent a day with two buddies of mine replacing that, while also upgrading the steering rack bushings with the Polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension, then got an alignment the following day.

After the alignment, there was a noise coming from the front, occurring primarily when making right turns at low speed with bumps or on an incline/etc. A little troubleshooting and brain racking led to a visit with a service manager at Toyota that confirmed that those symptoms were the beginning of UBJ failure. Great.

Go big or go home right? Ordered SPC upper control arms for $450 and got those installed with those friends of mine mentioned above. My rig is still pretty close to stock height, so I opted for caster setting "G", with yet another alignment the day after. Thank god for Firestone's lifetime alignment, though I'm sure they're getting annoyed with me at this point.

Lastly, found a Cobra 75WX ST on Craigslist for $65 and picked that up as well, so a CB is somewhere in the near future for me.

Pics to come later!

Time for the first update in over a year and a half. This will also include PICTURES *gas*

Since it's been so long, I'm probably gonna end up forgetting a bunch of things, and I'm definitely not going to remember mileage for a lot of the changes that occurred for repairs and maintenance. Life has been pretty crazy, since college is picking up quite a bit now that I'm deeper into my field of study. At the end of my freshman year (Spring 2016), I switched from studying Kinesiology to Construction Management, which has turned out to be a solid fit for me. It's a huge whole new world to me, but I thoroughly enjoy it, love the people that I've met, and my future for a career is promising, therefore I haven't regretted my decision for a second.

On to what y'all came for, assuming anyone is reading - rig shit:

Tanya is now sitting with somewhere around 3" of lift, with 33s, a fancy shmancy diff drop, a panhard correction kit from our man eimkeith, a real front bumper, a winch, rock sliders, ditch lights, fog lights that actually do shit, a supposedly high-output alternator, resealed valve covers, redone rear main seal, a shop rebuilt transmission, a hi-lift and plano case on the roof, and a wee bit of trail damage. I mean it when I say, "wee bit." It's small.

Photos aren't in order, but they're all within the last year. Biggest change is stepping up in tire size.

Questions, comments, concerns, threats... throw em my way
