Yeah I know people are ripping off the thin aluminum fender trim from their 4runners, but I'm going for the "old school" look and I want to install them. I acquired a set, but I don't know all the hardware necessary to install them. For example do I attach any clips to the fender, is adhesive used, or is there any lining between the aluminum trim and the fender.
So if anyone has these on your 4runner could you post pictures of how they are attached to the fender. Or if you have removed them perhaps you could tell me how they were attached. Thank you in advance. I attached a picture of the trim I'm referring to.

basically the screws screw into the plastic liners clips..
